Masterpieces of
English Choir Music
8:30pm | St. Stephen's Cathedral
Hear maserpieces of English Choir Music in St. Stephens - besides the music of RVW, you will hear music also composed in the UK, like Handel’s Zadok the Priest, Elgar’s Te Deum and Ireland’s Great Love Hath No Man.
By the way, these composers have anniversaries in 2022 as well: the 150th birthday of Ralph Vaughan Williams, the 60th anniversary of John Ireland’s death and Edward Elgar’s 165th birthday. Under the direction of David Wordsworth, the pieces were intensively studied on by choir singers from all over the world in several workshops during the Sing Along! Choir Festival. The crowning finale is the performance with the Cathedral Organist in St. Stephen's Cathedral.
