Lake Forest High School Choir, Band and Orchestra perform a varied and upbeat concert at St. Stephen's Cathedral. Lake Forest High School, located 30 miles north of Chicago on the shores of Lake Michigan, was built in 1935. The high school is known for its strong academic, athletic and fine arts programmes. Lake Forest High School's music department includes over 200 students in a variety of instrumental and vocal ensembles, including bands, orchestras, choral groups, jazz ensembles, chamber groups and musical theatre. Courses in music theory, guitar and composition are also offered.
