The Bach Choir
of Bethlehem

6:30pm | Salzburg Cathedral

Listen to the majestic sounds of Bach with The Bach Choir of Bethlehem in Salzburg Cathedral.

The Bach Choir of Bethlehem sang the first complete American performances of Bach's Mass in B minor in 1900 and the Christmas Oratorio in 1901. Since its founding in 1898, the famed choir has attracted thousands of visitors from across the United States and beyond to the annual Bethlehem Bach Festival in Pennsylvania. Dr. Christopher Jackson became the seventh Artistic Director and Conductor of the Bach Choir of Bethlehem, and the 90 dedicated volunteer singers of the Bach Choir, who perform with the Bach Festival Orchestra and renowned soloists, are highly acclaimed internationally. The choir sings around 40 concerts a year for more than 22,000 spectators.

We are delighted that this choir will be performing in Salzburg Cathedral this year and singing an evening concert. We hope to be able to welcome you to Salzburg Cathedral.
